Tertiary and Immigrant Scholarships

The Foundation makes seven scholarships of $2,000 available each year to school leavers, as well as a further scholarship which it administers on behalf of the Catholic Development Fund.

Applications from Year 13 pupils at Catholic schools in the Archdiocese which have been endorsed by their Parish Priest and school Principal will be considered by the Foundation's Scholarship Committee. Applications will also be considered from Catholic students at State schools in areas not served by a Catholic college which have been endorsed by their Parish Priest. The conditions applicable to scholarship applications can be downloaded by clicking here.

In addition, the Foundation awards a scholarship each year to a deserving immigrant student to assist with his or her tertiary education. The scholarship is made and named in memory of Halena Fladryzynska-Morrow, who immigrated to NZ as an orphan following WW2, after suffering great hardship. She left her residual estate to the Foundation.
